Here Goes Nothing!

For about two years, I've contemplated starting a blog. Every time I got the nerve, I always made an excuse about why I couldn't or shouldn't. None of my excuses were ever good enough. I finally told myself just shoot. Put it out there! So here goes nothing.

I initially wanted to base this blog around fashion, specifically affordable fashion for tall women. I am 5'10, and us tall girls struggle... you hear me? Though I want to talk about my fashions, I also want to talk about life. I am tall yes, but I am also a black woman, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a bonus mom, a friend, and an aunt. I worry too much and I cause myself unnecessary anxiety. I am super hard on myself about everything. I struggle with my weight, my skin, and my edges. But even still, I am confident and I am a Bomb Ass Person. Period!

So let's talk about it...let's explore! We are humans, we go through so much and sometimes its therapeutic to just talk about shit (Mommy, I am going to curse so brace yourself). None of us are one-dimensional, so we don't have to be just one thing. I like plants, and I like to twerk (I water my plants while I twerk). I love God and Trap Music. My playlists consist of Nipsy Hustle, Anita Baker, and John P Kee. I shop at the Goodwill and Nordstrom. I go to the Farmers Market and have a veggie garden, but I like cheese steak subs with everything no/onions LOL.

This will be a safe space with no judgment. So let's mix a little Jeezy, a succulent plant, and a badass pant suit in the pot and see what we come up with. This blog is going to be all over the place chile,but I will reel it all in...I promise. Stick with me :-)
